Dr. Smith, a native of Lafayette, has been practicing dentistry since 1980. Since 1985, a substantial part of his practice has been devoted to dental implants, a very exciting area of dentistry that is giving many patients new hope for a comfortably confident smile.

In Addition to practicing general dentistry, Dr. Smith has worked with numerous dentists and specialists throughout Louisiana, and has lectured on the subject of Dental Implantology throughout the United States. He is an active member of a number of dental organizations composed of dentists who keep abreast of the latest trends and techniques in dentistry. This ensures state-of-the-art dental care right here in Acadiana. Dr. Smith and his staff remain at the forefront of dental implantology by participating in continuing education throughout the U.S. Again, this ensures that his patients benefit from the latest in technology and techniques.

Dr. Smith is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and the LSU School of Dentistry. He is married and has two daughters.
